Easily share content from your mobile and tablet

Chromecast built-in™ technology lets you stream multimedia entertainment and apps from your phone, tablet or laptop directly to your TV or speakers. You can project holiday photos, watch a Netflix movie or listen to your favourite YouTube track. And all without having to connect a cable – it’s all wireless.

It’s easy to use – open the Chromecast-enabled app on a mobile device connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the TESLA MediaBox XA300. Then tap the Chromecast icon and you’re done. In a matter of moments, what’s on your device will be beamed to your screen. This can be photos, videos, music and supported apps. Plus, you can continue to work and do anything else on your phone while your chosen multimedia content runs on the TV.

Mirror your phone to your TV

Through the Google Home app, you can take advantage of another great feature by mirroring content from your mobile device directly to your screen. This way, you can easily transfer the same content you have on your mobile phone, i.e. any app, game or web browser.

Mobile phone as a remote control

The Chromecast built-in function allows you to control the MediaBox from your mobile phone or tablet via the Google Home app. This is usually on everyone’s person, so there’s no need to search for a traditional remote control.

Plenty of apps for all members of the household

Viewers big and small won’t be bored with the TESLA MediaBox XA300. Movies and series can be watched via subscription online video rental services Disney+, HBO MAX, iBroadcast, Prime Video (Amazon) and many more. An endless supply of music is provided by YouTube, Spotify or Deezer. There’s a lot to choose from – TV List, Kodi, Google Meet, Red Bull TV.

Quick and easy app downloads from Google Play* – apps are optimised for use on your TV and can be easily controlled without the need for a connected mouse or keyboard.

Compact size

The size of the media box is ideal for carrying or hiding behind the TV. Connect to your TV using the integrated HDMI output and power it with the included adapter. The remote control communicates with the device using Bluetooth technology, no direct aiming is required and the signal range is significantly increased.

Perfectly sharp 4K picture

Watch movies, TV shows or videos in high quality thanks to Ultra HD 4K resolution and the latest HDMI 2.1. HDR technology also ensures high dynamic contrast to make the picture look more realistic, almost as if you’re seeing it live.

Voice search

The remote control is equipped with a built-in microphone. Simply press the coloured button to activate the microphone. The spoken command is then transcribed into text within seconds. This way you can search for things like the weather forecast, a video clip on YouTube and an app on Google Play.

High performance for smooth operation

The reliable ARM Cortex-A35 processor combined with 2 GB of RAM provides sufficient performance even for demanding Ultra HD content. Support for the H.265 (HEVC) codec ensures lower data usage while maintaining image quality.

Internet connectivity

The media centre can be connected to an internet network via DualBand Wi-Fi. It supports both the slower 2.4GHz and the faster and more advanced 5GHz.
