The INTER-SAT LTD company was awarded the TESLA brand in 2011 with the aim of continuing the tradition and value it has had among Czech consumers for over 70 years. In the menu you can now discover a number of quality household appliances that will save you time and money. History of the TESLA brand

TESLA is certainly no newcomer – its history dates back to 1946. The inspiration for the TESLA brand was the famous electrical engineer Nikola Tesla. The national company TESLA, which operated until 1990. Until then, it brought together dozens of individual national enterprises throughout Czechoslovakia to produce everything from small electrical engineering, to consumer electronics, to large capital electronics for professional and military use. Subsequently, the individual parts of the company became independent and privatised, and some of them disappeared.

The present of the TESLA brand

In 2011, however, the Czech company INTER-SAT LTD acquired the license for the TESLA brand from TESLA a.s. in order to build on the success of this brand, which has been enjoyed by Czech and Slovak consumers for more than 70 years.

 

Since 2011, we have introduced countless quality products on the Czech and Slovak market, which have been at the top of the popularity among consumers. Here are some of them.

DVB-T2 set-top boxes

Thanks to our new reliable receivers for terrestrial TV broadcasting, we have ensured that a large part of Czech viewers will be able to watch their favourite stations even after the transition to the new DVB-T2 H.265 HEVC standard, which was completed on 29 October 2020.

 

Robotic vaccum cleaners

Great helpers that fit into any home. We have already introduced 10 successful models, of which the TESLA RoboStar T30 model in particular has won the prestigious Heureka.cz Product of the Year 2018 award among vacuum cleaners.

 

Because we keep up with the times, our vacuum cleaners are equipped with modern features – sophisticated navigation for orientation in space, a number of safety features against falling and impact, the ability to control the mobile app from anywhere or even control the robot vacuum cleaner with Google Play or Amazon Alexa voice assistant.

Electric pots and fryers

Who wants to spend long hours at the stove? There probably won’t be many people like that. That’s why we’ve already launched 9 great pots and fryers that save time, money and make delicious food packed with healthy vitamins and minerals. Especially the multifunctional electric pressure cookers TESLA EliteCook K50 and K70 are very popular, which have long held the TOP 3 positions on the comparison portal Heureka, but also with our partners – Alza, Mall, Electro World, Datart and others. Especially worth mentioning is the more equipped TESLA EliteCook K70 model, which won the Heureka.cz Product of the Year 2020 award in the Electric Pots category.

Multimedia centers

We were the first to introduce 8K MediaBoxes on the Czech market, which are very powerful and have a wide range of applications. Our latest model TESLA MediaBox XA400 is one of the first multimedia centres in our country with certified Android TV operating system. This ensures smooth operation and app updates and allows you to watch Netflix in 4K resolution, among other things.
