Red Button Function – HbbTV

The set-top box is enriched with an advanced feature that combines traditional TV broadcasting with internet broadcasting. By connecting the device to the internet network, you get the possibility to start a show that has already been broadcast, from the archives of Czech Television, Prima, Nova and others (some of which may be for a fee). However, in HbbTV you will also find many bonus programmes, series that have not been broadcast on TV yet, games, cartoons, sports, weather forecasts, TV programme and many other interactive applications for all family members.

Connect to your TV with HDMI-CEC

Our DVB-T2 receiver is designed for maximum compatibility with different types of TVs. For modern TVs, it connects easily with an HDMI cable, while for older models it provides an AV connector. The device also supports the HDMI-CEC function, which allows you to control the connected TV with a single remote control. This means that your set-top box remote can control the TV at the same time – turning it on and off or changing the volume. However, it’s important to note that both devices must support this feature to use HDMI-CEC.

Connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi and LAN

The TESLA HYbbRID TV TH210 introduces you to a world of seamless connectivity with integrated Wi-Fi and LAN reception. The integrated Wi-Fi reception allows you to connect your device to the internet without cables, while the LAN port is ideal for a stable wired connection using an Ethernet (LAN) cable. This is especially useful if you need high speed and reliable connectivity. In addition, the device offers OTN (over the network) updates, which means your set-top box will always be equipped with the latest software. OTN updates are downloaded directly over the internet, you no longer have to worry about manual updates and can be sure that it will always be up to date.

For proper operation it is necessary to successfully connect the receiver to the internet. The connection can be made via LAN cable (RJ45 connector) or wirelessly via the integrated WLAN (Wi-Fi network). Please refer to. Operating Instructions, section 5.4 Network. Please note that the availability of the HbbTV application depends on the broadcaster’s decision and the current conditions. For this reason, the flawless operation of all features of the application cannot be guaranteed. The receiver’s basic specifications comply with HbbTV version 2.0 and the relevant codecs at the time of launch. The control of the application is given by the operator and is interactively displayed in the graphics of the application itself. Some functions in the application may be subject to restrictions by the provider, e.g. user account login.
