TESLA Zigbee SV60 replaces a standard radiator thermostatic head and maintains the exact set temperature in the room. Thanks to automatic heating control, the home does not overheat, adapts faster to your routine, and helps reduce costs. Settings are easy directly on the valve via a clear display.

Smart heating control via Zigbee and TESLA gateway

 

The thermostatic valve communicates using Zigbee technology, which is reliable and energy efficient. To use smart functions, a TESLA Zigbee control unit is required, for example TESLA Smart Multimode ZigBee Hub ZH44. The gateway enables connection of the valve to the app, remote control, and integration into smart home automations. Without the gateway, the valve works as a standard digital one.

You can install SV60 instead of a standard thermostatic valve within a few minutes – without interfering with the heating system. The standard M30 × 1.5 thread fits most radiators, and the package also includes adapters for selected valve types (e.g. Danfoss RA/RAV/RAVL, Caleffi, Giacomini or M28). After installation, the valve calibrates itself automatically.

Energy savings without constant supervision

 

The valve can detect a sudden drop in temperature, typically when a window is opened, and temporarily limits heating to avoid wasting energy. At the same time, it protects the radiator from freezing and regularly “exercises” the valve to prevent it from sticking. You heat only when it makes sense, without constant adjustments.

The TESLA Smart app gives you full control of the SV60 valve from anywhere. On your phone, you can set temperatures, schedules, and automations (scenes) so heating responds to situations at home. Clear notifications alert you to important changes. The option to share the household with family members is also practical – everyone can control selected devices from their own account.

  • Precise temperature setting – Temperature adjustment via rotary control in 0.5 °C steps for fine comfort tuning.
  • Comfort mode – Maintains a pleasant temperature (default 20 °C) for normal operation.
  • ECO mode – Reduces consumption by maintaining a lower temperature (default 15 °C).
  • Anti-freeze mode – Protects pipes by maintaining a safe temperature (default 5 °C).
  • OFF mode – Completely closes the valve when heating is not required; frost protection remains active.
  • Heating scheduling – Set schedules in the app (up to 6 programs per day) using standard modes.
  • Custom mode – Manually selected temperature remains active until changed.
  • Vacation mode – Temporary reduction of heating during longer absence; returns to the previous mode after the set time.
  • Boost mode – Short-term “quick heating”: the valve opens fully for a set time and then returns to the previous mode.
  • Open window detection – If the temperature drops by more than 1.5 °C within 5 minutes, heating is temporarily stopped (valve closes for 30 minutes) to reduce waste.

    • Display, indicators, and controls

  • Clear display – Shows current and target temperature; the “SET” icon indicates the target value.
  • Display rotation – Change display orientation with the “Set” button for better readability after installation.
  • LED connection indicator – Indicates connection status (unpaired / pairing / connected).
  • Low battery warning – When capacity drops below 20%, the indicator flashes to signal battery replacement.

  • Child lock – Locks controls to prevent unwanted changes.
  • Power outage memory – After power is restored, operation continues in the last mode.
  • Automatic valve calibration – Adapts the valve to the specific radiator valve.
  • Limescale protection – Regular valve maintenance (automatically every Monday at 12:00).
